Can Any One Person Save Online Gambling in the U.S.?

vote

Saviors are in high demand. The closest thing the online gambling community has enjoyed recently is Barney Frank. The Democratic Representative from Massachusetts is regularly on the side of personal freedom; his Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act of 2007 is aimed at licensing online gambling under federal jurisdiction.

But there’s a problem. H.R. 2046 appears to be dead in the water; it hasn’t seen the light of day since being referred to House committee in April of last year. But a change in administration at the White House could make Frank’s life in Congress a lot easier.

The opportunity for change means there is a savior for this industry – that would be you, the American voter. Whatever political stripes you wear, this is your opportunity to push this country one step further out of the Dark Ages. Sharp bettors are sharp people. Sharp people are also very much in demand.
