Gambling Saves Lives!!

You might think; how could casinos and gambling save my life? Well if you ever decide to go fishing, accidentally fall out of your boat, have to tread water for more than 4 hours, God might just answer your prayers for rescue and have a casino cruise ship come and save you.

Sounds far fetched and think that something like that could never happen to you? Think again, it happened to this guy,

As the story goes, Kennedy was fishing off Cape Canaveral. Everything was wonderful on his 24 foot boat and next thing you know, he looses his footing and SPLASH! He’s in the water. Unfortunately for Kennedy, he didn’t have the kill switch to the boat’s engine so the boat just flew off without him.

What else could he do? He decides to tread water. For more than 4 hours he was treading water. Finally after a while he takes off his pants to signal, by waving them around and hoping someone would see him.

Kennedy’s prayers were answered by Carlos Navarro, who is a hand on the casino cruise ship, Ambassador II.

Olin Kennedy, the pant-less casino-saved fisherman is perfectly fine with no injuries. And thanks to the love of gambling, that love created the boat that sailed past him to rescue him and save his life.
